Paul S. Atkins is a graduate of The West Virginia University School of Law, class of 1975. He is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of West Virginia, the United States Federal Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, and the United States Supreme Court.
Paul worked with Legal Aid shortly after graduation and then opened his own office in Charleston, West Virginia. First moving his office to St. Albans and finally to Buffalo, West Virginia, he is the founding member of Atkins & Ogle Law Offices, LC. Working primarily in assisting financial institutions with their recovery of accounts receivables since 1981, Paul also served many years on a panel of mental hygiene attorneys. Paul is a retired Major and Judge Advocate General from the Army National Guard.
Paul lives with his wife in Buffalo, West Virginia and is a member of Trinity Fellowship Pentecostal Holiness Church in St. Albans, West Virginia, where he has served as a deacon and trustee for over 25 years.
James B. Atkins is a managing attorney for Atkins & Ogle Law Offices, LC in Buffalo, West Virginia. His focus area is debt collection, with a history in contracts and criminal defense. Jamie is admitted to the West Virginia State Bar, the U.S. District Court Southern District of West Virginia, and is the president of the Putnam County Bar Association.
Jamie graduated cum laude from Glenville State College, with a bachelor’s degree in music education. He received the Student of the Year award upon graduation.
Jamie earned a degree from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2001. He held the position of President for both the Lugar Trial Association and the Christian Legal Society and as well as Chair for the Ethics Committee. He also earned selection into the National Order of Barristers. He has taught as an adjunct lecturer for Glenville State College and West Virginia State University and co-authored/taught, "How to Get Results in Collection of Delinquent Debts in West Virginia."
Jamie is a lifelong member of Trinity Fellowship Pentecostal Holiness Church in St. Albans, West Virginia. He stays active with church, activities with his kids, coaching baseball with the Little League, and lots of musical opportunities. Jamie and his wife live in Scott Depot, West Virginia with their three children.
Bree Whipp Ogle is a managing attorney for Atkins & Ogle Law Offices, LC in Buffalo, West Virginia. Her focus area is debt collection. Bree earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Marshall University in 2002, graduating magna cum laude. While attending Marshall, she was a member of Phi Eta Sigma, Gamma Beta Phi, and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies. Upon graduation from Marshall, Bree received the Senior Key Award. She was also a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority and held many offices including President.
Bree received her law degree from West Virginia University College of Law in 2005. Bree was a class officer, and was a member of the Law Clinic. Bree is admitted to practice before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and the United States District Courts for the Southern District. She is a member of the West Virginia State Bar, the Putnam County Bar Association, and the Putnam County Criminal Defense Bar Association.
Bree is an active member of Forrest Burdette United Methodist Church in Hurricane, West Virginia. Bree and her husband live in Hurricane, West Virginia with their two children.
